Train From Binh Thuan
Phan Thiet Station is a passenger terminal of the tourist railway connecting Saigon to Phan Thiet (SPT), also known as the "Green Gathering" railway. In addition, this is also a freight station from Phan Thiet to Binh Thuan Station (former name: Muong Man Station) to join the North-South railway network.
In 1899, governor general of Indochina established a delegation named Lang Biang. This mission is responsible for building a railway from Phan Rang - Thap Cham passing D'Ran and then to Da Lat, connecting the Ninh Chu seaport to the Central Highlands, connecting the southern provinces with the central. The construction sites of Thap Cham - Da Lat, Thap Cham - Bien Hoa, Thap Cham - Nha Trang appeared one after the other.
In 1903, they finished building Phan Thiet station area with a system of warehouses and yards.
In 1920, the Bien Hoa - Thap Cham railway was connected and passed through Phan Thiet city, Phan Thiet station is a station station of this railway.
In 2012, Phan Thiet station was relocated out of the city center, located next to National Highway 1A.
Thus, the name Ga Phan Thiet is more than a century old.
