Da Nang Railway Station was built and inaugurated in 1902 according to the unified architecture from South to North. Currently, the city and the Ministry of Transport are promoting a project to relocate the station out of the city center for 6 years from 2017 to 2023. The new passenger terminal is 43.1 ha, located in Hoa Minh ward, Lien Chieu district. The cargo terminal is Kim Lien Station with an area of 80 hectares, located in Hoa Hiep Bac Ward in Lien Chieu District and upgrading Le Trach Station with an area of 9.6 hectares.
